What about things we want to keep or donate?

Everything we take goes to our Glasgow depot, where items in good condition are sorted for reuse and charity, and the rest is recycled wherever possible. Any personal documents, photographs or valuables we find are handed back to you.
Do you take broken furniture and bags of rubbish?
Yes. Broken chairs, damaged flat-pack furniture, old mattresses, bin bags, toys and general household rubbish are all fine, as are white goods and small electricals. We cannot take asbestos or hazardous waste such as paint, chemicals, gas bottles and fuel. Everything else goes on the truck, and we sweep up once the rooms are empty.
